Hey Hey-back again for another week of fun at the cancer care center….or maybe just a second week of crushing cancer instead. Either way, here we are at week 2 already.
Thankful that week 1 went well and ready to go for whatever lies ahead. Today was more of the alternative therapies, which includes the immune “cocktail” that I had mentioned last week. I attached a pic of the ingredients for everyone to make at home. Kidding. T his little mix is quite potent, and not just on the healing end. Apparently I can clear a room immediately upon walking in, lol. The DMSO in it has a very strong smell, especially when it is coming out of the pores. It’s funny because I have had it described as quite a few things (egg, olives and sweet banana pudding to name a few) and I just cannot smell it. Maybe I need to find a way to weaponize it and use it for my own gain, eh? Whatever the smell, it is beating cancer down currently and luckily for anyone near me today, I only will have it one more time next week. Good thing my wife already likes me, right?
We went over some post treatment options, took a blood test and then sent me home to torture anyone who comes near me or is stuck in a room with me. They test the blood the day before they give the chemo meds to make sure the white blood cell count is high enough to handle what’s coming. So far, so good for me. Tomorrow is a double chemo day so I would anticipate some fatigue for sure, and hopefully that will be all. We shall see. I’ll be back with an update tomorrow!
Talk soon!
