Day 3

Day 3

Hey all! Day 3 is in the books! I am happy to report that I woke up today with no side effects (so far) from my first day of chemo meds. In fact, I slept really well and felt pretty darn good, which was a bit surprising. I was actually ready to go on a run, but then I remembered that my wife and the doctors wouldn’t be very happy with me, so alas….

Today was an alternative medicine day for me which included (all IV): High-dose Vitamin C, an Oxidative therapy and a Hydrogen Peroxide drip. All of these are super cancer fighters and were doing just that as I gradually ran out of steam as the day went on. I’ll take fatigue as the worst side effect everyday of the week over any of the other “choices”.

Tomorrow is a chemo day and which will include just one chemo, given with the insulin, and see how day 2 of the low-dose chemo treats me. I’ll keep you informed tomorrow but now I have to get some sleep–doctor’s orders!

Talk soon-

PS-the pic is not me–the chemo did not help me grow hair overnight. But what if it did…..
