Hey all! Just a quick check in on a cloudy Tuesday. Just went for a run after work and it was cold! Nothing like those January/February runs! I’m ready for some sun! The reason I’m mentioning this is because running has been a big part of my life after I was cleared of cancer in 22’. I had always run here and there but never consistently. I really started to track and dedicate myself more last June and I gotta tell you-it’s the best. It really is like my therapy, especially when it’s warm and the sun is shining. If you don’t run I highly recommend it for all the obvious health benefits but mostly for the mental ones. I have a 10k coming up around Valentine’s Day which I should be able to get in before treatment starts up, or at least I’m hoping to. My goal after that is a half marathon in April so once I crush this cancer again I should be ready to go for that. It will be interesting to see what my levels of energy, commitment etc will be through treatment. Definitely worth documenting I think! Alrighty—Have a great night! Talk soon-
