Well, sort of. As I said in the video, today was the first step of the journey. My favorite thing ever–the blood draw. I have been stuck so many times over these last couple of years you would think that I have gotten used to it by now! Anyway, as I said my blood is going to be sent overnight to Greece for testing. We are still learning exactly what all of it means, but the Cliff’s Notes version is that they (the Greeks) test my blood against all known chemotherapies and treatments to see what works against my cancer. This test is new to us as our last Integrative Doc did not use this particular protocol. It is the baseline of all the treatment going forward as it will dictate what and how much I will be receiving. Needless to say we are anxiously awaiting the results, which take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get back. We will share them with you in detail so we all can get a better idea of this process and how it all works. Should be very interesting…..Talk soon!
